Edit TV's content tagging allows for Chinese sports fans to rewind live TV by events or players, create and share their own highlights with their friends using icon driven event technology. Edit TV are integrating their technology more tightly within the RenRen ecosystem, allowing individual users to automatically post what they are watching to their RenRen wall, both live, on-demand and play-lists.
The service is one of the first third party video services to be deployed on either RenRen or 56, and opens up Edit TV and APSN to an audience of over 100m users capitalising on the increase in video services, connected devices and broadband speeds. The companies are currently in discussions about mobile services which can power even more interactive content experiences for Chinese SNS users.
